Fund raising to maintain the Hall to a modern standard is one of the main aims of the Trustees and regular events provide the opportunity to involve the local community whilst raising money
The Village Hall Dinner & Dance
The first highlight of the Dumbleton year is the now legendary Village Hall Dinner & Dance.
A two-course supper, the chance to win instant prizes, take part in the Barrow of Booze raffle and dance ’til late with a live band makes it a not-to-be-missed part of the Hall’s year.
A great chance for the village to come together with the opportunity to dress to impress or participate in the year’s fancy dress theme!
Safari Supper
November
The Safari Supper sees us working with our fantastic friends at the Cricket Club and the Village Club to provide a much needed night out in the last month of winter.
A three-course supper – a course at each venue – drinks and prizes to win at the end of the night make this another hugely popular event. Tickets are limited, so don’t miss out!
Pop-Up Café
Usually, the second Saturday of the month
The Hall’s Pop-Up Café has become a part of village life and a great way to get to know new friends and catch up with old one.
We serve a range of Fairtrade coffees and teas, delicious home-made cakes and brilliant freshly cooked bacon rolls. In a rush? No problem, have a takeaway!
Wine Bars
Throughout the year
Our first themed wine bar took place for Christmas 2017 and was such a success that we knew we had to do more. Usually based around a theme, the Wine Bars give people the chance to get together over a range of excellent wines, beers, lagers and spirits with occasional nibbles thrown in too!
There’s the chance to win prizes in the big raffle each time too so keep an eye out for the next Wine Bar at the Hall.

Fully licensed
The Hall is a fully licensed premises and we can do off sales too… so if you can’t make a wine bar you can still enjoy our great choice of wines
Smoke-free zone
There’s no smoking or vaping/e-cigs allowed anywhere inside the Hall. There’s a smoking area outside for when you need to!
Friendly neighbours
Hall events finish at midnight at the latest. We’ve got great neighbours who don’t mind our events but please respect them and leave quietly
